Wartburg alumna Ashley Anderson (Ritter) has been sentenced to up to five years in prison for having sexual contact with at least three students during her time at Aplington-Parkersburg High School.
Anderson, 25, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual exploitation by a school employee under an agreement in which prosecutors dismissed a fourth count in April.
She was arrested last fall after admitting to having sexual contact with four male students during the 2011-12 school year.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reported she learned the sentence at a hearing Monday at the Butler County courthouse in Allison.
The criminal complaint stated she had sexual relationships with the students and sent nude photos to them.
She was employed at Aplington-Parkersburg for two years before her resignation teaching math, algebra, geometry and pre-calculus. Anderson was also the assistant coach for girls track.
